Ornithologist by education. MSc. in Vertebratology, Ph.D. in Ecology.
Main focus: ground and water birds, ex situ and in situ protection - in my previous profession responsible for in situ project of the protection of Eurasian Hoopoe, Red-crowned Crane and White-naped Crane; ex situ coordinator of the EAZA (European Association of Zoological Gardens and Aquaria) studbook of Red-crowned Crane; vice-chair of the EAZA Charadriiformes Taxon Advisory Group; vice-chair of the Comission for in situ projects of the Czech Republic and Slovakia
I offer guided tours in South Moravia for people coming via Prague or Vienna airport. It´s not my main job, but do my best to satisfy desires of the people of same interest.
